To code the CURO L7 device, please make sure the device is off. Insert the blue Lipid-P code chip into the device on the left side. Once it snaps into place, the device will automatically code and you will not have to do anything further. For image-guided assistance, please refer to the user manual page 21.
For entering the “Checking” mode of lipid, press the left and right buttons in display mode flashing lipid test strip symbol for 3 seconds, then ‘CHE’ appears on the screen.
Insert the SD Lipid Check Strip in ‘CHE’ mode. The check result appears on the screen in just 10 seconds. If there isn’t any problem for the analyzer, ‘OK’ message will appear on the screen. Otherwise, there is a problem with the analyzer, ‘EEE’ error message will appear on the screen.
You need to dispose of the Ezi tube properly after using, Ezi tubes are for one-time use only, this is for accuracy and infection control purposes.
NA – Not Available for your LDL. If you did not receive number values for your other tests for TC, TG, or HDL, you will not receive a calculation-based answer for LDL.
Yes, you can use the CURO L7 meter to test both glucose and cholesterol levels.
The Curo L7 is the highest professional grade model we offer for profile testing which has the capability to perform testing for Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL, and LDL while Curo L5 performs for Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides and Glucose. For those in a clinical or hospital setting, the Curo L7 device is more suited for more accurate readings.
LO for your result means that your results were too low for the device to provide a proper reading. Please refer to the User Manual for the exact levels for each result as they differ.
Testing limits: TC 100 – 450 mg/dL, TG 45 – 650 mg/dL, HDL 25-95 mg/dL
Any readings that are below or above the limits will not show a numerical value. If a numerical value is not given for any of the tests above, the LDL will not be calculated.
